Recycled asphalt, or reclaimed asphalt pavement (RAP), is a process that turns used asphalt into new products. RAP is made by reprocessing asphalt and aggregates that are removed from paved surfaces for various reasons, such as reconstruction, resurfacing, or accessing buried utilities.
